He could get a gift but he wanted to buy on his own.

Steve M. was pre-approved for a home loan, but he had little money to work with.  His father was willing to give him a gift for the down payment and closing costs if he needed it, but Scott preferred to “do it on his own.”  He needed a program that required no down payment and allowed seller assistance with the closing costs.  Solution: The USDA, 100% financing, home loan program.

Steve was able to buy a home with no money down and the seller agreed to pay his closing costs.  Scott got his house with no money out of pocket, and dad was proud – without having to raid his bank account!

If you are buying a home and are in an eligible area, but want to use as little money as possible to get in, the USDA home loan might be an option to consider.  Contact a USDA approved lender today and make your home ownership a reality.
